It is International Women's Day, a day to celebrate and honour women and girls around the world - but also a day to raise awareness, to ask tough questions, and to learn more about the hardships that women face in society today.
We were thrilled to have the opportunity to talk with Esther Mwaura-Muiru (from Nairobi, Kenya), the Global Women's Land Rights Manager for the International Land Coalition. Esther is a remarkable woman doing remarkable work in advocating for women around the world who don't have the same rights to land that men enjoy.
Through her tireless work, she is raising awareness about this very important cause, and we couldn't think of a better person to talk to for International Women's Day, than Esther.
